Who we are

Now Illustrated is produced by Centus ApS, Denmark. Centus ApS is the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at contact@nowillustrated.com.

This website

We don't use advertising trackers, analytics scripts or marketing cookies. We link to YouTube rather than loading an embedded player. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical connection information, such as your IP address, to deliver and protect the site. Our contact form uses your IP address only to limit how often messages can be sent.

When you contact us

When you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, topic and message. We use them only to read and answer your enquiry. Messages are delivered to and kept in our Google Workspace mailbox. We delete a message when you ask us to, or when we no longer need it to answer you or keep a record of a collaboration.

Our publishing tools

We use small internal tools that connect to the YouTube Data API, Meta's Facebook and Instagram APIs and similar platform APIs. They are used only by our own team to upload and manage videos on Now Illustrated's own channel, Page and accounts. They do not sign in other people and do not collect personal information from viewers.

The tools access only what is needed to publish: our own channel or account identity, the videos we upload and their titles, descriptions and settings. Access tokens are stored on our own computer and are never sold, shared or used for advertising. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. YouTube's own handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Comments and social platforms

When you comment on, message or follow Now Illustrated on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or X, that platform's own privacy policy applies. We see what the platform shows to account owners and use it only to reply and run the channel.

Deleting your information

To see, correct or delete information we hold about you, email contact@nowillustrated.com. We will answer within 30 days. Because our publishing tools don't hold information about anyone outside our team, there is nothing to delete from them for other users. If you ever connected an account to one of our tools, you can also remove its access in that platform's settings.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete and object to our processing of your information, and to data portability. You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet.
